SV	Maar de wet is bovendien ingekomen, opdat de misdaad te meerder worde; en waar de zonde meerder geworden is, [daar] is de genade veel meer overvloedig geweest;

Alex	νομος δε παρεισηλθεν ινα πλεοναση το παραπτωμα ου δε επλεονασεν η αμαρτια υπερεπερισσευσεν η χαρις
ASV	And the law came in besides, that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace did abound more exceedingly:
BE	And the law came in addition, to make wrongdoing worse; but where there was much sin, there was much more grace:

Darby	But law came in, in order that the offence might abound; but where sin abounded grace has overabounded,

Sch	Das Gesetz aber ist daneben hereingekommen, damit das Maß der Sünden voll würde. Wo aber das Maß der Sünde voll geworden ist, da ist die Gnade überfließend geworden,

Web	Moreover the law entered, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
